soccer report
May. 5th, 2006 11:11 pmCentavo played an excellent game against Saharok, which finished in a 4-4 tie. We only had one sub, and we could've won had we had another warm body. The guys played sparkling defense, giving Saharok few chances, which means i had fewer chances to screw up. OK, i played well, only (harmlessly) fumbling the ball once. The final goal i gave up might have been avoided if i'd challenged the shooter, but i'd just stopped a hard shot and he got the rebound, so i think it might just be hindsight and wishful thinking that i had a chance at stopping him. We dominated them the first half but suffered from mediocre finishing, then spent the second half running a bit tired (and thus let them score three times).
This should've been a twofer, except i spent all night yesterday listening to my new music and COMPLETELY FORGOT my game like an idiot. Argggh. To make it worse, we lost a close (but well-played, the guys said) game to Los Teporochos, 4-2. Now i've put my whole schedule into my phone's organizer so i'll be reminded. Unless i lose my phone. Right.
