oh, the, dentist had a drill, zooma zooma zooma!

I went to Dr. Yemoto's for a drill'n'fill. Not only did he complete it in record time, but he even let me look at my tooth at various steps of the procedure, and gave me a blow-by-blow of what he was doing. Very cool. Now i just have to wait for the anæsthetic to wear off so i can eat without chewing up the inside of my mouth.

My dentist (who could take on Dr. Yemoto and Dr. Okazaki with one hand tied behind his back) says that local anesthesia has evolved amazingly in recent years - the new stuff breaks down onsite instead of involving your liver, so it wears off without leaving you feeling dizzy or hung over, as used to happen. I always get the extra large size needle. Whee!
