For those of you who loathe LoudTwitter updates as much as i do, go to your journal customization page and enter these lines in the 'Custom stylesheet' box:

.loudtwitter {
display: none!important
}

and another short answer: if i wanted to read your (general) twitter updates, i would subscribe to your (general) twitter account.

otherwise it is just so much garbage that shows up on an otherwise, mostly, thoughtful collection of posts.

Most of my LJ followers aren't on Twitter, and vice versa. I almost never post anything to LJ only, so my LJ followers would miss nothing if they dumped me on LJ and only followed on Twitter.

Now, if you were talking about FACEBOOK and Twitter duplication, THAT is hellish.
