They were clearly concerned that he might whip off his towel, roll it up into a rat tail, and snap them on the rump with it before they could get far enough away from him to prevent it. So, of course, they had to use the electroshock weapons.

Why the fuck am I having trouble believing that? They hit him with the taser because they thought he was being uppity, and fuck them and their claims otherwise.

Once the facts were all sorted out, officers repeatedly apologized to Williams. Police wish it never happened, but with the information they had at the time, their choices were limited.

Were they that limited? This sort of shit doesn't go down in Australia. I hope.

A word of advice to them: "don't be so fucking trigger happy on the taser, and this sort of shit doesn't happen"
