an old bruise

It actually looked a lot worse than it felt.

If i recall correctly, this was from the game where i got checked into the boards head first and the ref made no call; i guessed that my elbow hit the boards, too.  The tip of the elbow hurt like hell if i rested it on anything, but the rest of the bruise felt fine.

The only joint i habitually bruised was my left knee, and i definitely got a cushioned pad for that once i figured it out. I also got padded shorts because i kept getting rug burn on my left thigh, but they didn't help as much as i'd hoped.
