Eight years ago, i wrecked my feet by wearing rented shoes, had my surname mangled in front of dozens of people, and participated in a sacrament in which i've had no spiritual investment since i was 13.  At least it didn't rain.

Ahh, who am i kidding... i'm a total romantic.  But my wife does this much better than i do.

Smart man! Listen to Kim! Beware the voices in Drieux's head, for lo, they keep darkly cute ones (DCO's) chained in the closet and provide opportunities for the bert and ernie of the dragon hit squad (http://drieuxster.livejournal.com/65361.html) to slather these poor unfortunate DCO's in dijon mustard (http://drieuxster.livejournal.com/75554.html), and things just go to hell in a handbasket from there... Drieuxish voices in your head are dangerous! Take it from me, I lived under the same roof with him for n-mumble years...

... However, sometimes those voices of his do have some interesting ideas ...

BTW, I hope you both had a spectacularly happy anniversary! Give each other a hug chock full of good wishes from me.
