Apr. 8th, 2006 10:04 pmI enrolled in the UC Davis Extension Winemaking Certificate program back in November. The first class, Introduction to Winemaking, started in January and finished two weeks ago. We got our grades today, and i got an A-. Whee! Onwards!

Date: 2006-04-09 06:47 am (UTC)Today we had a bottle of Wild Horse's Cheval Sauvage (their reserve line) 2002 Pinot Noir. So very smooth and delicious. Then we opened a 500 ml bottle of Tierra Salvaje 2002 Monastrell Dulce for dessert, to pair with the chocolate cake Thib and Billy brought. In between those, Kim and i had some of the Cline 2002 Ancient Vines Mourvèdre that i opened the other day.
Other recent wines include an `02 Frog's Leap Zinfandel and an `03 Opolo Grand Rouge (71% Counoise, 24% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah). I've sure been drinking a lot lately...
