Got to UC Davis's ticket site at 10:00 sharp to buy two Pixies tickets. No dice. I hit reload once... nothing. Twice... boom! I bought two tickets for $25 each, plus $15.75 (!) in fees. Only two months to go!

My wife loves both No Doubt and Blink 182, and they're playing together at the Tweeter Center in Camden right after our anniversary, so tickets to that show would be a great and thoughtful gift.

Unfortunately, I missed the 1.4817E-09 second window during which tickets were available for sale at face value.

This (http://www.stubhub-tickets.com/?event_id=55286&RequestTimeout=500) is what I'm looking at for ticket prices. Even shitty screwed-if-it-rains Lawn seats start at over $80+ apiece. Two seats even reasonably close and centered? Three hundred and up. And this is THREE MONTHS before the concert; I can only imagine what they'll be like a week before.

Could anyone please point me to relevant sources of mp3s or such (no P2P-client currently a/v)? I'm going to see them at the Aerodrom festival anyway, and am considering if they or the bands on the other stage are more interesting...

I cannot believe that the Pixies are playing TWO SHOWS IN MANITOBA, but not a single gig in New York, Philadelphia, Boston or DC. What the fuck, over?
