What do you make of this Haiti situation? I just watched a short bit of news on it the other day and Maxine Waters was furious about our staging a coup (http://www.vancouver.indymedia.org/news/2004/02/109531.php), as she called it. She seems to think our motive has to do with profits made in Haiti businesses we've been involved in or something?

I don't make much of it; i'm not well informed and i don't care enough to become informed. Haiti seems like a mess.
