Garbage, Bleed Like Me: a straight-forward rocker, Garbage-style. It's good, but there's nothing special on it. "Bad Boyfriend", the opener, has Dave Grohl on drums, and that's usually a huge boon, but he doesn't add much this time. Shirley just seems to come off a bit drained.
The Arcade Fire, Funeral: i'd heard a couple of tracks on XM, and then i listened to the whole album when i found it on some random coworker's iTunes share. It's quirky, sometimes New Waveish, occasionally French-Canadian rock. It's wonderful, familiar yet original. There's a free mp3 on amazon.com, if you want to check that out.
Finally, check out the video for the single off Sleater-Kinney's upcoming album, The Woods. It just plain rules. They're coming to San Francisco in June, and i'll be there.
