Check out Capes, a 3-part miniseries from Image by Robert Kirkman. It's about a superhero agency, where superheroes get paid a salary (plus overtime), which is undergoing a funding crunch. It's funny, it's good, and it needs more people buying it. #1 and #2 are out, and #3 should be out any week now.

I haven't read it, but The FOurth Rail liked it (http://www.thefourthrail.com/reviews/critiques/012003/invincible1.shtml) (they gave it an 8 whereas they gave Capes #1 a 6).
