As i sit down to watch TV, i realize my heart is pounding, my stomach is twisting, and without warning i howl and my limbs jerk.  But it's not a neurologist i need... it's just World Cup Fever, baby!

RSA-MEX was a fairly sloppy game, though.  The alternation between exciting and groan-inducing moments was just a tad too much.  But now it's time for my nap.

You'll have to tell me what games you're interested in watching for the first round. I'm picking the ones I want to watch today.

Brazil's always entertaining
For form's sake, I should really watch the USA (but it conflicts with another event)
France broke my heart last time

The Guardian's website does a very good job of liveblogging the games. If anything, the writing improves (as do the reader's letters) when the games are bad; during the slow spells in yesterday's Algeria/Slovenia match (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/13/world-cup-2010-algeria-slovenia-live) the reporter was relaying nutritional advice, Top Tips-style, from a health website.
