Date: 2008-12-20 05:22 pm (UTC)I think what Obama is doing is trying to show that he's not just speaking for us lib'rels. One of the reasons that I voted for him, and why I've supported him for so long, is that he doesn't just say</i) that he plans to surround himself with different ideas. Of course this could mean that he doesn't always represent me, specifically, but it means that he's doing his best to represent everyone that needs some sort of representation. Of course, I could be naive. It's happened before. But until his presidency actually begins and he starts fucking up, I'm going to continue believing that he's only pulling an Abe Lincoln and trying to hear all sides.

But we all know there's a huge number of very stupid people out there on all sides of politics.
