You know who Sarah Palin is?  She's Josh Freeh.

Please don't make me hope for a Spider Jerusalem any more than I already do.

(I'm *angry* at Doktor Sleepless. Don't know if I mentioned that anywhere yet.)

I slogged through the first arc, and upon encountering the big revelation in #8, said, "fuck it," and unsubscribed. I've recovered from being an Ellis fanboy. "Fell" is still fucking awesome, but everything else he's putting out these days... meh. Same ol' ideas, repackaged in various and sundry ways.

Is more Fell out yet? I only have the first trade, and have been patiently watching Previews for more.

Sounds like you had exactly the same response to DS as I did. Sadly, I have at least another couple of issues coming, based on how I do my pre-orders...

I've been collecting the single issues, so i dunno, let me look... #9's the last one i have.

"Black Summer" was more promising but also disappointed. "No Hero" #0 was meh. "Anna Mercury" was meh. His "Iron Man" Extremis arc was good, but otherwise i haven't touched any of his recent Marvel Universe stuff (except for looking at previews of the preposterously sophomoric "Nextwave"... yes, yes, just what i always wanted to read, a S.H.I.E.L.D. spoof written by a 19-year-old, thanks, Warren).

I'm not sure if I could tell the players without a program even while I was reading it, and I certainly can't now. And Wikipedia is not being that program.

...oh, wait, yes it is. Somehow I'm not quite seeing the whole inhumanly-spotless-record thing with Ms. Palin.

This is the real world, so of course she's not going have the inhumanly spotless record. But McCain selected her from the current equivalent of Heller's bloc for the same reasons.

listening to excerpts from her katie couric interview, I was strongly reminded of the Dude from the Big Lebowski.

Except that The Dude was less the opposite of a cunning opportunist. And was more articulate.
