Date: 2008-04-04 10:37 am (UTC)For many decades now I have dreamt of a multimedia art installation that becomes increasingly unpleasant as you go forward into it while also becoming increasingly difficult to back up out of. I still can't decide if the final bit should be a sudden transition from a nigh-unbearable environment (brain-shattering audio, autopsy videos of heavily decomposed bodies, random electric shocks, high-wattage epilepsy-inducing strobe lighting, etc.) to a serene and sublime garden of delights, or if the visitors should just ultimately be ground up into a paste and squirted out the back of the building.
