Reminds me of a flyer for a conference in Vegas that I should have kept. Its featured speakers were industry leaders and business people, touted as the Four Aces. Their pictures were displayed on the ace cards of each suit. Magic Johnson was the Ace of Spades. *facepalm*
You want liberal media? Y'all come on up to Canada, y'hear?
Yesterday there were four by-elections, to fill seats in the federal House that were vacated by resigning members of the Liberal Party, which of course would have had to sweep all four just to tread water. The media fawned greatly over two solid wins in Toronto, and since the hinterland doesn't count anyway, glossed over the fact that the Conservatives took the seat up for grabs in Northern Saskatchewan, or the fact that the former Liberal stronghold in Vancouver went down to the wire to the point it'll likely be a recount; the media is calling that one a victory and glossing over the fact it was a squeaker.
