Teammate: "Aren't you wearing shin guards?"

rone: "Sure, but it went right through it.  Just like this, whack!" [demonstrates by whacking leg with fist] "Ow.  OWWWWWW." [limps off to car]

I know that feeling. Shins sometimes meet in sparring matches, and yeah, despite gear, it still hurts. And I've done that same boneheaded maneuver afterwards too (although, my hand was open as opposed to closed for said demonstration).

Once I stuck my finger into a CPU fan on a server, and shredded the end of it.

My coworker said "wow, that looks like it really hurt. How'd you do that?"

I said "I did this", and stuck another finger into the fan. And shreded the end of it.

It really hurt. Twice.
