There seems to be an interesting experiment running in our Helpdesk area... some months ago, i noticed there was a dollar bill sitting on top of a cabinet. I asked, but nobody seemed to know whose it was. I left it, figuring the owner'd come back for it. Weeks went by and the bill remained untouched. I just walked by and now there's another dollar bill and a smattering of change. Did the dollar bill spontaneously generate interest? Did someone mistake the dollar bill for a tip jar, except without the jar, and add their own gratuity? It's all very strange...
