Every one of these get-rich-quick motherfuckers need to go on Oprah or something and give away 100 copies of their books to people working two full-time minimum-wage jobs, then come back later to see how many of those people they've managed to rescue from poverty with the brilliance of their book.

On a tangent, that is the most wonderfully expressive South Park-style user icon I've seen -- wonderful choice of the mouth and the scrunched-up eyes. One can just hear Cartman saying "Hate. You. Guys. So. F*ing. Bad. Seriously..."

That's a brilliant idea for a new reality show.

We white chicks with big boobs must fight the uncontrollable urge to throw on bikinis and stand next to rich men for no reason.

I stumbled on the local lefty AM station this weekend and heard somebody talking about the racial and socioeconomic bias of "high stakes" reading tests being used to weed out the poor readers in third grade these days and shunt them into lower-paced programs where they won't drag down the school's performance metrics later. Questions included something involving "doubles tennis" (Oh, or are all the little ghetto boys drooling over Venus and Serena nowadays?) and "What is a country club?" (the multiple-choice answer being "a place where people meet").

Yes, but it makes THEM rich

...perhaps.

When I taught at National Business College, our students were lucky if all they got sucked into was Mary Kay.

What's really annoying about those people is that they're getting rich off poor people who don't know enough about money and economics to understand why the schemes don't work.
