Any recipe can be improved by judicious use of one or more of the following:

• bacon
• chocolate
• cheese
• butter
• garlic

We have long had the belief around this house that everything can be improved by either bacon or chocolate. Sure, butter, cheese, and garlic are all good, but they lack the universality of bacon and chocolate. All the same, it'll be nice to have a couple of extra options if our old standbys fail us!
