I wonder if black people with Scottish surnames participate in the various Scottish Games, Festivals, and Gatherings of the Clans around this country.

There's Black Irish, but who ever heard of Black Scots?

An Irish housemate once asked me if a guy I sang with named Connolly was Irish, and I said, "well, Black Irish." He then asked if I meant African or Indian, because there were a lot of dark-skinned Indians in Ireland. What I didn't even know until I met his sister later was that Mr. Connolly was indeed Indian. His relaxed perm and urban speech had me entirely fooled.
