There's Black Irish, but who ever heard of Black Scots?
An Irish housemate once asked me if a guy I sang with named Connolly was Irish, and I said, "well, Black Irish." He then asked if I meant African or Indian, because there were a lot of dark-skinned Indians in Ireland. What I didn't even know until I met his sister later was that Mr. Connolly was indeed Indian. His relaxed perm and urban speech had me entirely fooled.
