one last plea
Oct. 13th, 2006 01:57 amIf you read my previous plea, and wanted to donate but didn't get to it, please let this serve as a reminder to visit my wife's fundraising page and donate. Right now, at least US$5 will get you a bar of homemade soap as a thank-you. Thanks!

Date: 2006-10-18 08:05 am (UTC)This is a great project. About my first discovery of death came via a friend in grade three or four who died of leukemia. He beat me in chess matches with ease, was funny, and would have grown up to be brilliant. At his memorial service, they sung "Silent Night". I still can't hear it without thinking of him.
