Tool's new album, 10,000 Days, will be released on May 2, the same day as Pearl Jam's new album.  It's like Christmas!

Heh heh. I think that "Vs." is their weakest album, honestly; it's inconsistent and there's a bunch of mediocre tracks. And "Vitalogy" is annoying to listen to because of all the annoyingly quirky tracks interspersed throughout the recording that break up whatever flow the listener could have.

Vitalogy was certainly the ANGRIEST of all the PJ albums, I think they really established themselves as anti-establishment after that album. I cringe when I see bands like smashmouth, who sold out basically from day one. I know I'm a biased fan, but I find it curious you called vs. their "weakest" album. As far as continuity, I think I agree with you, but it was probably the most rocking of all PJ albums. Then throw in "Daughter," "Elderly Woman," and "Indifference," and it's pretty damn good if you ask me. I'm seeing the boys again in May, the fan club hasn't failed me yet.

I don't think it's bad, i just think it's really uneven. "Indifference" is one of my favorites of all their œuvre.
