I'm so in love with myself, i've spent the afternoon digging through my own trash to find little verbal nuggets that still make me giggle:

That's part of the Internet's allure. Its invisible hand takes away by dissociating you from physical human interaction and rendering you just another voice in the dissonant miasma; thus, simultaneously, the invisible hand gives by becoming the ultimate equalizer. We are all equal in the eyes of our god. The Internet is communism, democracy, and anarchy rolled into an improbable, burning bundle.
I meant socialism instead of communism, but still, that last sentence is money.

Also, to expand on an old notion, a cynic is like a Twinkie: a toxic, unappealing, and impervious outer layer that surrounds a delicate and sweet heart.

What is the shelf life of a cynic?

I've always thought that a cynic is a burnt-out romantic.

Not burnt-out; just lightly charred.

Twinkie. Ha! What politician does that best describe?

I have a hard time believing any of them have a sweet and delicate heart. I think that would be a real drawback for the job.

Jane Wagner said, I am getting more and more cynical all the time and I still can't keep up. But cynicism is the pain of disillusioned idealists who - once in a while - see with the eyes of a child, hear that child's voice, and remember the kind of world we dreamed it could be.
