You know how a song's lyric will rattle around in your head, but you only heard it two or three times on the radio so you don't know who did it or what it's called, and you've meant to look it up online for years but haven't, until the lyric fades away, but then it pops up several years later, and you look it up and find the song's title and, lo and behold, iTunes has it for sale?

DAMN YOU

Fortunately, there's not much way to look up "Na na na, na na na na, na," so I'm in no danger of similarly resuscitating that piece of crap. BUT NOW IT'S IN MY HEAD AGAIN, YOU JERK. And even when I just posted a reference to Centipede (which I've still never found) especially for you to Usenet.

I'm getting close to giving up on Usenet. a.r.k has turned into a.r.k.suburban.hello-kitty.omg-how-r-u-guys-lol and i can't take it anymore.

When I realized I had more people killfiled than I was reading, I left. What in the hell happened? There's people posting 100 puns a day, others posting one-word replies to every post on ARK, and an underlying email chattiness that's gotten way out of hand. I've complained about ARK before but this time, it's worrisome, and I'm afraid it won't bounce back.

Maybe it never really did bounce back. I dunno.

Uhh,

by their producer, the top entry in your reading list over on the right?

On a related note, howcome I never heard of Jakko Jakszyk (http://www.21stcenturyschizoidband.com/) until I was following up on my latest short, shameful confession and started wondering if Ian McDonald needed a new project?

Uh, never heard of them. I thought you were talking about the Atari game.

As for your not hearing about 21st Century Schizoid Band, maybe you should sign up to Elephant Talk (http://www.elephant-talk.com/).

Yes. It was a song by The Waitresses that I wanted to put on my Christmas CD and had no idea name of group, name of song, nada ... but quite a bit of asking people and poking around, found name of group and omg - iTunes had exactly what I was looking for and 99-cents later ... I had what I wanted.
Huzzah!
And #$@% you, it's in my head again.
rrrrrrrrrrrrr

Back in the day I got the whole EP it came from. For a dollar. It also had the theme to the tv show 'Square Pegs', which wasn't as good as the title track. And best of all it lacked The Waitresses' incredibly bad, inexplicably popular song 'I Know what Boys Like'. Not only am I old, my skull is lodged full of useless facts.

Since I'm sure Ron needs to know my answer to his question, it's 'no'.
