The Chavez comment is an almost word-for-word copy of stuff he was saying in 1999 (http://www.positiveatheism.org/hist/quotes/revpat.htm) about Milosevic and Saddam Hussein. What makes this case seem scarier is that, as far as I know, nobody was remotely talking about invading or bombing Venezuela.

Publicly, that is.
