So, what, woo hoo, my first entry. Man, this is ridiculous...

I could wait until i get ljupdate.el working, but that's probably just going to be another subconscious excuse to not write. So, fuck it. I'll just use this damned Web interface that bites ass.

It seems that i have nothing to say... again. But i seem to say nothing so prettily, so vehemently, so floridly. An extended lexicon gives the civilized Neanderthal more verbal weapons to use against his fellow apeman. And, so, i use what the lesser apemen call "SAT words"... because it amuses me. It amuses me to box them about the head with superfluous words. I am not easily amused... but i am amused by simple things.

"Expectation is a prison." (Robert Fripp) Perhaps the problem with language is that we expect to communicate with it. The written word is rife with poor syntax, mangled grammar, and atrocious spelling. The spoken word is subjected to accents, slang, and incursions from other languages. Our ideas are forever locked away, and sometimes, if we're lucky, they manage to poke their limbs through the cage bars.

Se me ha ocurrido (o, en verdad, me he acordado) que debo tomar ventaja de este LiveJournal para escribir en español, antes de que se me acabe de escapar el vocabulario y la facultad de crear frases y formar ideas en este idioma.

En cierta manera, me terrifica el hecho de que estoy perdiendo mi español. Es como si me estuviera quedando mudo; simplemente, estoy perdiendo la capacidad para comunicarme con otros, y esto me da una sensación horrible, no como náusea, pero más como si me estuviera ahogando.
