While playing Star Wars RPG at John's the other night, i was introduced to The Order of the Stick, a heavily D&D-based comic strip. It's funny, the characters have depth, and the overall arc is an entertaining story. Not recommended for the D&D-impaired.

You now owe the State of Virginia about two and a quarter hours of my valuable time. Pay up, scoundrel.

In name only.

They don't actually advocate the killing of tyrants, either.

Killing tyrants?! I thought they only got the Upskirt With A Spear treatment.

Tell that to John Wilkes Booth.

Are you attesting that he is a tyrant, or a Virginian? IIRC, he was neither.

The story goes that after he shot Lincoln he shouted "Sic Semper Tyrannis" and jumped off the balcony, breaking his leg in the process. So far as I know he's the only famous/infamous person to said this in a memorable way.

The best part about the John Wilkes Booth story is that the doctor who treated him for the broken leg (Samuel Mudd) was a Great-Great Uncle or such of my first grade teacher.

That was damn funny, even if I didn't get all the D&D rules jokes.

Cute. It does remind me of Yamara (http://www.aetherco.com/yamara/yamsales.html).
