Um, half of them come off as stoned morons. I'm sure that's how Move On (they made the ads) and other AnybodyButBushitlers feel about people who disagree with them, but that doesn't mean that's a good way to get those people to vote for Kerry or stay home. These ads may work against them because insulting people does generally make them switch to yor more enlightened view.
With all due respect, the hunt is on for the shy, elusive, near-mythic Undecided Voters. The testimonials are not going to do anything for The Decided among us. But they might make some people on the verge feel better about breaking the chain and NOT voting for Bush. Especially those who say, "I'm Republican and I'm not changing my party affiliation, but I'm not going to repeat the mistake I made before." Of all the testimonials, the ones that made my ears perk up were Evangelical Christians who said, "The Emperor has no clothes." Or the faith-based equivalent of that.
