Date: 2004-10-09 01:22 am (UTC)Being serious, if the guy is using such a device, that's both contemptible and frightening. The idea that the most important man in the world isn't smart enough to memorise a soundbite or answer any question without being prompted does not fill me with confidence.
Also, it reminds me of the Al Qaeda announcement a while ago which included a wish for Bush to win the election. The reason for that wish boiled down to, "Because he's a bloody idiot, whereas Kerry might be smart enough to cause us problems."
