i'll give you five woolongs for it
Oct. 14th, 2002 12:39 amSaw Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (aka Knockin' on Heaven's Door) today with The Boy and
palecur. It ruled. Electra Ovilo is a dead ringer for Gina Gershon.
Some fan has put up the soundtrack in RealAudio format. I'd buy it, but i'm not inclined to spend $40 on one CD. Maybe someone will buy it for me off my Amazon wishlist.
If you have no idea what Cowboy Bebop is, i would suggest either trying to catch or record it on Cartoon Network, late weekend nights, or purchasing the first DVD from Amazon. If you don't like it, i'll take it off your hands (yes, i'll pay for it).

Date: 2002-10-14 02:56 am (UTC)I would be downright shocked if the whole run of Bebop music weren't available to Westerners at US-type prices within twelve months. We know the licenses /can/ be procured, because of the TV boxed set, and we know English-speakers are shitting themselves over the product, and the film's a sodding Columbia release. Only a matter of time.
Me, I wish they'd put out more of those CB cigarette tins and hipflasks.
CNX (what amounts to the UK's Toonami+Adult Swim channel, starts today) has been pushing itself using lots and lots of Bebop clips. It feels good.
