I have a PDA that doubles as a cell phone, and it has a flip-up lid. It never occured to me to use it that way--maybe because I wouldn't be able to hear the other person. I do have a program on it called "Tricorder". I promise that, when in your presence, I will neither pretend like my PDA's a communicator, nor will I scan you. I like having an unbruised neck.
