Chocoholics should be aware that Godiva's Belgian Dark Chocolate ice cream is bittersweet and very, very chocolatey.  I am very impressed.

Arrrgh!

Couldn't you have told me about this *before* I found out that I was a diabetic?

I also saw a wide variety of "low-carb" ice creams with sucralose. No idea if they taste like Satan's ass.

You know, this particular ice cream was not too sweet at all. Lemme go look... ok, 23g of sugar per serving is probably still a lot for a diabetic. Keep it in mind for the occasional splurge...

Low carb ice cream isn't all that bad, but it sure as hell isn't Godiva.
And my blood sugar stays within acceptable limits when I eat it - I went up to around 122 the night before last when I had some, compared to 98 yesterday night when I didn't.

Hey, you may or may not know of a lovely product called 'Whey Low,' (diabetic-usable sugar-like substance) with which, if you have an ice cream maker, you can have quite a sugary time. Also it doesn't give you gas.
