Squonk Opera is coming to play at Stanford's Memorial Auditorium on January 17. I'll be buying $30 tickets for me and Kim. I've never seen their show, but their music is very cool, and the clips i've seen on their Web site lead me to believe this is going to be a great show.

Go see them!

they were my favorite local band when I lived in pittsburgh.
I went to probably 15 of their shows (every one they played locally and one in DC with plord and stevi) during the two years I lived there. they were absolutely freakin' awesome then and I hear they've only gotten weirder and better.

I'll never forgive their current singer for not being kate aronson though.

Yeah, Stevi was the one who introduced me to SO. She sent me a tape of "howandever". Sure wish i could get that on CD.
