Blasters beat Ball Monsters 3-2, in a game where we were up a man most of the game.  One of the Ball Monsters suffered a bad ankle injury, although she seemed to be in good enough spirits after the game.  They played very well, and i think we'd've probably lost if they'd been at full strength.  Into the middle of the second half, i was thinking shutout, so naturally the Soccer Gods punished me; a ball was lobbed towards the box, and as i came out to grab it just ahead of the attacker, i fumbled it badly.  It just came right off my fingers, right onto the attacker's foot.  I felt like Quentin Griffin.
