I don't know that they're diametrically opposed, but the Beatles's "Let it Be" and Malvina Reynolds's "Let it Be" have somewhat different themes.

After a good, solid 10 minutes of thinking, this is what I've come up with:

• I don't know who originally recorded "Stay," except that it wasn't Jackson Browne
• That's cool, though, because the Shakespear's Sister song by the same name isn't different enough, content-wise
• I suck at coming up with song titles off the top of my head
• But I'm really good at getting "So What" (Ministry) stuck in my head just from staring at the title for a while
• I'm certain that there's a song called "Heaven" that pairs up with Bryan Adams' song, but I can't for the life of me think of it

Checking the list of duplicates, I see that I was at least right about "Heaven." There are only two others I'm ashamed to have missed from the list.

Pavement's "Home" and Sheryl Crow's tune of the same name have somewhat orthogonal lyrical content, but to my ears have rather similar "feel."

At some point I ran into a third song titled "Modern Love" (besides Bowie's and Peter Gabriel's), but I can't remember who it was now and I don't remember what the lyrics were about; Bowie's and Gabriel's do not seem to be opposed ("never gonna fall for modern love" vs. "modern love can be a strain")

Does the old standard "(I'm in) Heaven" count? I'm not sure if there are parentheses in the title or not.
