roneBRECIS defeated The Kids 9-8 in an rather violent game. There was a near fight (if you fight, you get kicked out and your membership revoked immediately), and there was a lot of use of arms and kicking of feet, as well as mouthing off to the ref on the part of some Kids (rule #1: don't fuck with the ref). The Kids were a wily bunch, sneaking behind our oblivious defenders and scoring with a quick touch. They fell in love with the long shot, though, and wore themselves out playing dirty and bitching at the ref, so we came back from two goals down and pulled out the victory. I played pretty decently, especially once i figured out that my bum left shoulder was hampering me going to my left and adjusted.
Our last game of the session is next Thursday at 17:00. We've no chance at leading the division, but i don't mind as long as i don't get hung out to dry too much; it still happened a lot today, but it wasn't as bad as last week. I also played more aggressively (and smartly) when i did, so that's good, too.
