The guys, they mostly just keep being guys. The women and their stories are what make the show interesting -- it's about how the world was changing at that time, particularly with respect to women's lives.
Some of the guys get mildly interesting. There's some stuff around homosexuality, and a little bit of civil rights. But mostly it's a show about women.
