Yup. I've heard Nirvana and Blues Traveler and, I believe, Counting Crows, on my local "classic rock" station. Though it's to be expected with commercial stations, I don't think there should be definition creep as the listeners age.
And I'm still pissed that what used to be the local "Oldies" station (Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc...) now plays music from the 60s and 70s.
