May. 24th, 2005 11:31 pmI'd obtained a couple of bottles of Domaine Weinbach 2002 gewürztraminer from Weimax to celebrate, but we ended up switching our dinner plans at the last minute from La Fondue to the Forbes Mill Steakhouse, which we'd not yet tried, so i left the Weinbach in the car and we instead had a Terrazas de los Andes 2003 Reserva malbec with our steaks (Kim had a dry aged ribeye and i had a peppercorn filet mignon) and our dessert (we shared the warm chocolate torte). For openers, Kim had a green salad with Roquefort dressing and i had beef barley soup, and we shared some seared ahi. Everything was superb except for a side order of asparagus, which was merely excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
