In our practical world, any given nation with a power vacuum teems with virtual weasel-antiweasel pairs. A political system fills the power vacuum and also functions as a black hole; antiweasels disappear beyond the event horizon, thus giving rise to what seems to be the spontaneous creation of weasels whose natural ability to work the system pushes more of us natural antiweasels into the black hole's gravitational field. And thus, we are crushed.
