mah children need wine!
Jan. 20th, 2003 09:01 pmKim and i went to Weimax Wines & Spirits today, in search of some Txomin Etxaniz. We got our hands on their very last bottle of 2001, plus we also bought a bottle each of Summers 2000 Charbono (a perennial favorite), Duxoup 2000 Charbono and Jeff Runquist 2000 Z Zinfandel, the latter on recommendation from the gentleman at Weimax whose name i regret that i did not ask. He also favored us with a taste of 1997 Château d'Yquem Sauternes, which was sublime. I think anyone who can drink wine should taste the stuff at least once in their lifetime. I shall be buying a bottle anon.
