Unfortunately, no. When a dotcom's ludicrous business plan fails miserably, and they've used up all their venture capital, they just go under and everyone laughs at them.
The federal government, unfortunately, has the authority to tax us as heavily as they see fit, and they aren't held nearly as accountable to their shareholders.
