Back in the day, I went down to Marina del Rey (not Santa Monica, as it says on the website) and found the house that was pictured on the webpage. I went up and rang the bell, and a nice middle-aged woman answered. She had no idea that her house was on the Internet and said she'd been living there for more than 10 years.
A day in Marina del Rey isn't wasted in any event - it's nice there.
(And I sorta have to give The Spot credit -- as stupid as it was, it can legitimately claim to have prefigured pretty much all of the current "reality tv" craze.)
Spot 1019 (http://www.spot1019.com/) also came back, so does that even things out? I hope they're STILL back, because I still haven't gotten around to getting their "new" album! I R L4M3.
