it really should say "hacia afuera" or even "para afuera"

hand-written sign next to PULL sign on door: 'Pull - se abre por fuera'

Our local taco joint must have been channeling the Midvale School for the Gifted lately.  "Se abre por fuera" translates as "it opens from the outside", which implies that, what, it can't be opened from inside?  Tricky.

The classic is seeing Pull backwards through the glass. Clearly they should stencil this on the glass itself so that backwards Push commands will be bilingual.

Creepily reminiscent of a Roach Motel or a pitcher plant. My advice: Send McGyver in first.

For many decades now I have dreamt of a multimedia art installation that becomes increasingly unpleasant as you go forward into it while also becoming increasingly difficult to back up out of. I still can't decide if the final bit should be a sudden transition from a nigh-unbearable environment (brain-shattering audio, autopsy videos of heavily decomposed bodies, random electric shocks, high-wattage epilepsy-inducing strobe lighting, etc.) to a serene and sublime garden of delights, or if the visitors should just ultimately be ground up into a paste and squirted out the back of the building.

I have no comment about the sign, but I find the picture to be beautiful.

Oh, and I could be counted on to try to push this door open.

Interesting, since the JPEG artifacting is pretty screamingly bad in it, but i'll graciously accept the compliment.
