cuidado con el alacrán que te pica

Today is my dad's and my uncle Jaime's birthday. Tomorrow is Kimmy's birthday. Two weeks from today is my birthday. A week after that is my cousin Lourdes's birtday. Two weeks from yesterday is my aunt Koka's birthday. A week after that is my aunt Martha's birthday.

We Scorpios are a hardy, rowdy, and feisty bunch. Worship us. Only good can come of it.

you say he's just a psychic friend

I predicted early on that today's game would be a close Giants victory, similar to game 1. Game 4 ended with the same score.

During the game, i predicted that David Bell would be the "hero" and that Reggie Sanders would pop up his bunt. Needless to say, i was right in both instances.

i chust use de axent to get de gerlz

(I'd make a freakin' poll if i knew how)

Some people will say i have an accent, which has always boggled me and still does.  It seems that it is not so much an accent as it is just the way my speech is patterned; i seem to clip English words in a way that is similar to the way it's done in Spanish.

So... do i have an accent?  What does it sound like?  I've heard from a couple of people that i sound New Jerseyish...

on the dearth of facial follicles

Damn this Indian Aboriginal American blood, anyway. Patchy, uneven, wimpy facial hair... christ. Doesn't grow fast enough to shave daily, either. I'd sure prefer to be hairless. That'd cut down on the amount of ingrown hairs i get, too.

ser sin rumbo cierto

I haven't had a career-sort of goal since i was working tech support at Best Internet, and even back to when i was doing "UNIX Consulting" (TECH SUPPORT) for the USC Computing Services. I wanted to be a UNIX sysadmin. I wanted to be the one who had the root password and wielded the ultimate privilege.

I eventually got it. And i've had, pretty much, no aspirations since. Well, i do want to teach. But that doesn't seem to be a goal within the current race, i guess. It's more of a "forget this crap, let's do something real now" sort of thing.
