Second, I note that the site in question uses bottom-signed posts instead of top-signed posts. This is one of the many prices to be paid for the idiocy of bottom-signing.

I thought he meant "because of that" by "and now", and was saying something like "because you misattribute it, I don't get credit for my wit that is visible in the original article".

I guess it makes more sense, given the state of the world, that he meant "and, as it turns out, now my wit is gone". However, this was not initially obvious to me, especially since I couldn't even tell what comment section he was referring to in the first place (since, of course, his wit is gone).

I think I'd be more annoyed at THE GUY WHO DELETED THE COMMENT, but whatever.
