(I'd make a freakin' poll if i knew how)

Some people will say i have an accent, which has always boggled me and still does.  It seems that it is not so much an accent as it is just the way my speech is patterned; i seem to clip English words in a way that is similar to the way it's done in Spanish.

So... do i have an accent?  What does it sound like?  I've heard from a couple of people that i sound New Jerseyish...

You should post an mp3 of your voice so we can make fun of it... I mean, so we can analyze it.

I don't have one handy, and if i recorded one for this, i'd probably try to sound as normal as possible, so that's no good.

You do, in fact, have an accent that seems vaguely Spanish-esque. But it could also just be a particular speech mannerism, especially since your brother has no such accent.

you definitely sound like English is your first language, but you do have a rhythmic, choppy way of speaking that sounds more New Yorker-like than anything else I can think of.
