LiveJournal Rabbit-Hole Day

I'm in.

For some reason my brain thinks you asked about Sideways on an entry of mine the other day, but I don't see the comment. So I'll just randomly respond here.

I thought Sideways was quite good but not top 10, mostly because while Paul Giamatti was brilliant I couldn't really empathize with his character; it struck me as a little bit too much Alexander Payne making a movie about how much Alexander Payne likes to taste wine and so forth. But it was absolutely top 20 and I will want to see it again; it might rise in my estimation at that point.

Yeah, i zapped the comment because i realized that you had already reviewed the movie. I have the book from whence came the movie on my wish list now, to see what the differences are.

Appealing. I am not sure what I could do with this.
